So we took the hard part on ourselves. We hunt the world for rare and exclusive pieces, antique and vintage finds. We also look for the artists and makers who can create a one-of-a-kind piece for your project alone. That gives it a vibrant soul no showroom can sell.
The American market buys from the same ten sources. Meanwhile a hand-knotted kilim from 1948 lay abandoned in a Moroccan flea market. We carried it across three borders and unrolled it in a Manhattan penthouse. The client didn’t buy a rug. The client got the only one.
Today GAZDA HOUSE is a sourcing collective with a growing worldwide network of treasuries: flea markets, workshops, and artists nobody represents yet. Because sometimes the real treasure isn’t the piece, but the hands that made it. We find both.
